Restaurant 1886 is the smaller of two restaurants located at the Sofitel Winter Palace. Luxury on a grand scale, formal dress code - tie and jacket is a must for men and smart dress for ladies. If you want to splash out and have an unforgettable evening this is the place to go. A night you will always remember, the only Luxor restaurant with exquisite surroundings and an extensive a la carte menu (French cuisine) will ensure this is a night to remember. Prices are reasonably high by Egyptian standards but modest for this calibre of restaurant when compared to European prices. Starting at around 500-600LE for a meal and drinks for two, excellent value.

"People come to this restaurant to have Silver Service and you have to dress accordingly, i.e. men require a jacket & tie.
