The Cocktail Sunset Bar is located near the centre of Luxor moored on the river Nile. We didn't have a full meal here but came for drinks and a snack while watching the sunset. My partner had a couple of well chilled beers while I went for a delicious ice cream. The place was lively and had a delightful atmosphere. I thought we may end up paying over the odds bearing in mind the prime location, but no, we were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrive for less than 60LE (a little over £6). Well worth a visit.

"This is a great place to start your evening watching the sunset. It is the only bar we returned to during our stay as all the others that weren't in hotels catered for the low budget type of British tourist that we'd rather avoid. The usual beer and wine available along with cocktails at much better prices than the hotels.... more "
